Heritage Academy senior Lane Goodman, bottom left-center, signed his National Letter of Intent to play golf at East Mississippi Community College on Friday afternoon. Goodman is joined by his family, Heritage headmaster Sean Harrison, top-right, and head golf coach Bill Gates, top-left.
Goodman qualified for the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools Class 5A North State championships for the Patriots on April 17 at Cleveland Country Club.
“We are very proud of and excited for Lane as he embarks on this chapter of his life,” Heritage head coach Bill Gates said. “Proud to see him become a part of the EMCC golf team. He will not only be an asset to them on course, but also a great asset in terms of leadership and the overall vibe of the team. We wish Lane nothing but success in his future!”
