STARKVILLE — It’s been a great year so far for former Mississippi State and Southeastern Conference softball standout Mia Davidson-Smith.
After setting the Athletes Unlimited softball scene ablaze with a power exhibition, she will be heading to Chile to play for Team USA at the Pan American Games.
Earlier this year, Davidson-Smith participated at the World Baseball Softball Confederation World Cup in Ireland, representing the United States, and also helped the US win gold at last year’s WBSC Pan American Championship in Guatemala.
At the Pan American Championship, she hit .412 in nine games with three home runs and 13 RBIs, recording a 1.586 OPS.
