OXFORD — Former Alabama wide receiver Caleb Odom — a 247Sports composite four-star recruit in the 2024 class — has committed to Ole Miss, On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported Wednesday night. Odom also confirmed the commitment in a tweet. The 6-foot-5, 227-pounder caught seven passes for 65 yards as a true freshman for the Crimson Tide in 2024.
Odom, who is from Carrollton, Georgia, is ranked as a three-star transfer by 247Sports. He is the second wide receiver commit for the Rebels in the transfer portal so far, joining former Oklahoma State star De’Zhaun Stribling.
Ole Miss’ wide receiver room figures to look significantly different in 2025, as senior Tre Harris, Jordan Watkins and Antwane “Juice” Wells Jr. are all seniors. The Rebels return Cayden Lee (49 catches, 817 yards, two touchdowns) and signed four wide receivers during the early signing period, headlined by five-star recruit Caleb Cunningham.
