COLUMBUS — Columbus Soccer Organization has announced that registration for both its fall recreational soccer program and TOP soccer programs are now open.
The fall league is open to all area players ages 4-14, and registration costs $60. For children born in 2020, CSO’s “Little Kickers” program costs $30.
Additionally, CSO is hosting a TOP soccer program for players ages 5-19 with special needs. The TOP program features both physical and cognitive adaptations to make soccer an enjoyable game for all. Thanks to a grant from the Rowdy Foundation, registration is free and includes a free jersey.
CSO is also looking for ‘Buddies’ to help assist players in the TOP program, and will provide specialized training for volunteers.
Registration for both programs runs through Aug. 18, with the TOP program beginning on Sept. 18 and fall rec league matches beginning soon after.
Those interested in registering for either program can visit CSO’s website. Fall rec league registration can also be completed in person at the Lowndes County Recreation Department on 17 Airline Road.
