STARKVILLE — Mississippi State men’s basketball added another game to its non-conference schedule for the 2023-24 season, as the program announced Tuesday they are one of the four teams playing in Holiday Hoopsgiving in Atlanta.
The Bulldogs are set to face Tulane as part of the event, held at State Farm Arena, home of the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks.
Auburn and Indiana are also participating in the event, which is scheduled for December 9.
Mississippi State and Tulane have a longstanding history, having played each other 95 times. The last time the two met was in the quarterfinals of the Myrtle Beach Invitational on Nov. 21, 2019.
The Bulldogs dominated the Green Wave in a 80-66 win and are 8-1 in their last nine meetings overall.
