Mississippi State men’s golf head coach Dusty Smith has released the Bulldogs’ 2025-26 schedule, which sees the Bulldogs hosting two events for the third straight year and competing in nine tournaments during the regular season.
In the fall, MSU will co-host the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational with Ole Miss and Southern Miss. The event will tee off Oct. 18 from the Fallen Oak Golf Course at Beau Rivage Resort in Biloxi, Mississippi. In the spring, Mississippi State’s home event returns to Mossy Oak Golf Club for the Mossy Oak Collegiate. The 2025 edition was held at Old Waverly Golf Club while Mossy Oak underwent renovations.
“This is a schedule that will be a great challenge for us,” Smith said. “The goal is to always play tournaments against great competition on great golf courses that will ultimately have us ready for the postseason. We have added a few new events to the schedule this year, which allow us to get outside our comfort zone and prepare us for when it matters the most.”
The Bulldogs will open their fall campaign on Aug. 29-31 at the Carmel Cup, held at famed Pebble Beach Golf Links in Monterey, California. For the fourth consecutive season, the State men’s and women’s teams will compete side-by-side at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where the men have finished runners-up the last two years.
MSU will conclude the fall slate with two October tournaments – the Cullan Brown Collegiate in Lexington, Kentucky, and the Fallen Oak Collegiate.
The Dawgs pick back up in February to begin the spring slate, starting with the Battle at Briars Creek on Feb. 2-3 in Charleston, South Carolina. State returns to the Watersound Invitational on Feb. 16-18 in Inlet Beach, Florida, before heading to the Schenkel Invitational in Statesboro, Georgia.
The regular season ends in April with a return visit to the Mason Rudolph Collegiate in Nashville, where Garrett Endicott placed sixth last season, and the Mossy Oak Collegiate.
The SEC Championships return to St. Simons Island, Georgia, with stroke play beginning on April 22. The top eight teams advance to match play beginning on April 25, and a champion will be crowned on April 26.
