Five Mississippi State track and field athletes earned All-American honors after their respective performances at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, including decathlon national champion Peyton Bair, who also picked up the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Region Outdoor Athlete of the Year award.

All-American selections are determined by merit, with athletes earning the recognition through their final spot at the NCAA championships, while member coaches vote on the USTFCCCA award.

Bair and middle-distance runner Sam Navarro were both named to the All-American First Team, with Navarro finishing sixth in the finals of the 800-meter, posting a personal best time of 1:45.32 in the semifinals.

Bulldogs on the Second Team include hurdler Jessicka Woods, middle-distance runner Abdullahi Hassan and javelin thrower Remi Rougetet. Tuomas Narhi, Marie Rougetet and Nelly Jemeli also earned honorable mention recognition for their performances.

Bair cemented his legacy at Mississippi State in 2025 with both the heptathlon and decathlon national championships. He is the seventh male athlete in NCAA history to win both competitions in the same season, and recorded the 14th highest decathlon score ever in NCAA history with 8,323 points.
Rougetet, a three-time competitor at the Outdoor Championships, finished just one place short of the javelin finals. He ends his career with the Bulldogs as a three-time All-American and an SEC Champion.
Hassan, who also ends his career with the Bulldogs, closes his collegiate career with eight All-American honors for indoor and outdoor competitions.
