FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Mississippi State football is playing its first game as a ranked team Saturday.
The Bulldogs (5-3, 3-2 Southeastern Conference) are taking on an unranked Arkansas squad at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Razorbacks (5-3, 1-3 SEC) have the same overall record as the Bulldogs but have lost their past three SEC games.
MSU lost its previous matchup with Arkansas, which upset the 16th-ranked Bulldogs 21-14 last Oct. 3 in Starkville.
