The government’s position is that they can remove anyone, U.S. citizen or not, to a foreign prison, and if they can do it before a judge denies them, there is nothing the government can do to bring them back.
Wow.
How does that make you feel?
Also, the administration has had the Social Security database declare more than six thousand people to be dead people. That means not only that they cannot receive benefits, but that a person without an active social security number cannot be legally employed, cannot open a bank account (or access current funds), obtain or use a credit card, or basically have a financial life. I have heard it described as financial murder. What if it happened to me? One of those administrative errors? I would need to make an appointment at a Social Security office—current waiting time is over four months, thanks to DOGE—and then travel to the nearest office still open, probably wait days in line, and then hope my passport and birth certificate were convincing enough. In the meantime, I would receive no benefits, would have no way to access any banking or even pay taxes (not looking forward to the penalties once that was sorted).
Then, if that friend of the Donald who thinks I am an enemy whispers in his ear, the DOGE boy clicks his mouse and kills me all over again.
How does that make you feel?
