Attorney General Fitch pushes against feds on abortion, vax mandates and states her office is about freedom.
By pushing disproven theories and inaccuracies about the two states botching the election process, three Mississippi Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives were among the several House Republicans who voted to object to the certification of the electoral college votes in Arizona and Pennsylvania, states that duly elected Democrat Biden as president over Republican Trump.
One Senator from Mississippi voted to give the election to Trump, even after the delay because of the riot to certify Biden as president.
If they had succeeded in giving the election to Trump, what about my freedom since I voted for Biden? Is there not a law against this that will keep these people from being on the ballot again, ever? With the most fundamental right of citizenship being freedom to vote, why are the Republican-led states making it harder to vote, which is being called “voter suppression?”
The last election was the safest and most secure in U.S. history. It appears to me that the Republicans want to control the elections to favor their candidates. They want to rule the people instead of to govern the people.
What say you?
On abortion, AG Fitch states the state is essentially asking the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade. With the SC ruling on what’s before them, the 15 week issue, I don’t know why she would think they would rule to overturn Roe v. Wade.
With six judges on the SC appointed by conservatives, why not just plain ask them to overturn Roe v. Wade? For this reason, I think it’s more about political reasons than doing away with abortions. Overturning Roe v. Wade would mean half of their vote getting platform would be lost.
AG Fitch says she is also fighting federal overreach in the form of mandates for workers to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
I can’t see how that would be called freedom since being vaccinated could prolong life.
I mean you could call the Republican party the death party instead of the pro-life party.
Here are three more reasons I feel good about not belonging to the Republican party:
Republican Lauren Boebert says Canada and the U.S. need to be liberated like Ukraine.
Trump praised Putin for being smart and savvy for taking over Ukraine, a great piece of land with a lot of people. This is genius. You cannot put faith in someone (Trump) who is untruthful.
A Senate Republican candidate in Delaware says she identifies herself with Putin’s Christian values more than President Biden.
