Senator Wicker has been Mississippi’s Senator for way too long. Surely, his nest is feathered by now. He has been around so long in D.C. he is convinced that the voters in Mississippi will be glad he voted for the latest pork-laden bill before Congress. How delusional is that thinking? I will try to be nice and say that he is not the worst Senator in D.C. Romney, Cassidy, Tillis, et al have him beat. However, he is far from being a good representative of Mississippi Republicans. I am so jealous of Louisiana for producing Sen. John Kennedy; Texas for producing Sen. Ted Cruz; Kentucky for producing Sen Rand Paul; Sen Ron Johnson of Wisconsin; and a few more. What did we do to deserve a man who has never met a spending bill he did not like?
Mississippi, wake up. Vote for someone who will make us proud. I have no one in mind. This is not a letter promoting a person. I just want a man or woman who has the guts to stand against the D.C. power elites of both parties.
And, I am calling for someone to primary Sen. Wicker who is strong, determined and a fighter.
