MACON — Janie Mae Smith, 46, died Jan. 29, 2010, at New Heaven Health Center in Tupelo. Services are Saturday at 2 p.m.at New Jerusalem Church in Shuqualak with the Rev. Elder Leroy Horne officiating. Burial will follow in Savannah Church cemetery. Visitation is today from 2-5 p.m.at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home Macon. Mrs. Smith was born Dec. 27, 1964, in Noxubee County to Richard and Louise Mullian Boykins. She was a retired seamstress. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Smith, of Macon; her daughter, Veronica Boykins, of Macon; sons, Larry and David Boykins, both of Memphis; sisters, Mary Thomas Sandie Boykins, Sara Clay, of Macon, and Bessie Goodwin, of Chicago; brothers, Jimmy Lee Boykins, of Macon, and Billy Boykins, of Columbus. Pallbearers are church deacons and members.
