STARKVILLE — David Lloyd “Bubba” Trammel, 53, died Aug. 2, 2014, at Oktibbeha County Hospital. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Welch Funeral Home with Jason Middleton officiating. Visitation is today from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Trammel was born in Sardis on June 16, 1961, to Mary Frances Rickman Trammel and the late David Lloyd Trammel Jr. He was formerly employed in the department of Agriculture and Biological Engineering at Mississippi State University. He was a member of the Mississippi Cattleman’s Association. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Mandy Trammel and Kelly Trammel; son, David Lloyd Trammel IV; former spouse, Mary G. Trammell; sisters, Diane Barnett and Lynn Wells; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers are Loren Bell, Daniel Chesser, Eugene Columbus, Kevin Fant, Terry Doss, Ken Eaves, Cliff Ivy, Chad McComic, Clark McMinn, Donnie Miller and Michael Wilson.
