This weekend has a variety of events to choose from including Art ‘N Antiques, Tailgate the Town, Downtown Christmas Open House and more! There is sure to be something for everyone.

Columbus
The Columbus-Lowndes Convention and Visitors Bureau is hosting Art ‘N Antiques, a show and sale of fine artwork and antique decor and furniture. Mississippi State University Extension Service Associate Professor and Horticulture Specialist James DelPrince will be giving a presentation on floral design for the fall and winter starting at 9 a.m. Friday. The show and sale will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, and then from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. All activities will be happening at the Elks Lodge Building, 309 Main St.

Starkville
The Greater Starkville Development Partnership is encouraging downtown businesses to “Tailgate the Town,” by setting up tailgating tents around town with food, drinks and more in anticipation of Mississippi State University’s homecoming game.

Columbus
Main Street Columbus is encouraging downtown businesses to participate in a Downtown Christmas Open House from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Citizens are encouraged to stroll through shops to prepare for the Christmas season. Shoppers will be entered to win a grand door prize.

Starkville
Paxton Peay and Callie Prince will be performing at Rick’s Cafe. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 and are available at rickscafe.net.
Sunday, Nov. 5 @ 1-5 p.m.
Columbus
Zachary’s is hosting Do It for Deanna, a charity concert benefiting Deanna Robinson’s battle against thyroid cancer. There will be live music, food and drinks for a $10 cash donation.

West Point
The West Point Clay County Arts Council is hosting an opening reception for its exhibit featuring the photography of Amanda Hatchett at the Louise Campbell Center for the Arts.
