COLUMBUS – A Sunday afternoon fire that caused significant damage to a Columbus home is under investigation, Columbus Fire and Rescue Chief Duane Hughes told The Dispatch.
Hughes said CFR responded to the house fire at 1806 10th Ave. N. at about 1:15 p.m. on Sunday. One resident was home at the time, but there were no injuries reported, he said.
The fire was extinguished by 1:40 p.m., Hughes said, but the cause remains under investigation.
