Mississippi University for Women and the Columbus Arts Council will be hosting “Under the Oaks,” an artist market featuring more than 20 art vendors similar to the Burns Bottom Arts Festival, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Welty Drive.
Veterans Day Parade and Tribute

Starkville
KMG Creations is hosting a veterans parade in downtown Starkville. There will be a special tribute at the Oktibbeha County Chancery Courthouse at noon including a performance by singer/musician Terrell Brinson and keynote speakers District 15 Senator Bart Williams and Sergeant Terra Robinson.

The Bernard Romans chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is hosting a ceremony rededicating the Columbus Municipal Complex’s Columbus War Museum starting at 1:30 p.m. The museum will be open to the public from 1-4 p.m. on Veterans Day and during regular city hours in the future.

The Columbus Arts Council is hosting a group of artists from around the South for a concert at the Omnova Theater upstairs at 501 Main St. from 6-9 p.m. Featured artists include Danny Hammons, Camm Lewis, Shelby Sullivan, Barney Wells and Drew Young. Cover is $10.
