Artist Sean Starwars is coming to the Columbus Arts Council for a talk on his woodcut artwork, which is currently on display in the Main Gallery for the month of January.

Starkville
The MSU Wind Ensemble will be performing its first concert of the semester in conjunction with the MSU Honor Band Clinic. They will be performing at Bettersworth Auditorium in Lee Hall on the Mississippi State University campus. The concert is free and open to the public.

Drew Young will be playing solo at Munson and Brothers, 301 2nd Avenue North.

The Starkville Frostbite will be returning to the city with a half-marathon, 10K and 5K all beginning and ending on Main Street. On-site registration is available beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Starkville DIY is coordinating a demo release show for local band Sludgelung at the Starkville Area Arts Council’s Main Street lobby from 7-10 p.m.

Ian Munsick is coming to Rick’s Cafe, 319B MS-182, on his Boots, Buckles and Bolos Tour. Tickets are $35. Doors open at 7 p.m. with music starting at 8 p.m.
