PHEBA — Authorities have identified a suspect in a Monday home burglary in Clay County.
Asa Jennings Lester, 22, of Pontotoc, is a suspect in the burglary of a home on Joe Thompson Road in Pheba, a Friday press release from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said.
Lester is described as being a white male with brown hair and brown eyes, along with distinct tattoos on his right forearm, inner biceps and right arm. He was last seen with a trimmed beard, wearing white t-shirt and blue shorts, the release said.
Three firearms, two laptops, a guitar and jewelry were stolen from the home.
Lester is also a suspect in Webster County for the theft of a vehicle that may have been used in the home burglary, the release said. The pickup is a blue 1994 GMC with the Mississippi license plate B929GL.
