STARKVILLE — A Starkville man was arrested Wednesday after a gunshot was reportedly fired on Sand Road.
Michael Rice, 37, was charged with possession of a weapon by a felon, according to a Starkville Police Department press release.
Officers responded to the Sandhill Arms housing complex at about 6:12 p.m., after receiving a report of a fight involving weapons and a gunshot fired. No injuries were reported, and the incident remains under investigation, the release said.
