City authorities have asked for the public’s help identifying a man accused of stealing a wallet, fraudulently using a credit card from it and taking a vehicle from Wholesale Auto.
Columbus Police Department has released photos of the suspect, which show a man with a gray beard and mustache who is wearing a baseball cap and red jacket. The suspect allegedly used a credit card from a stolen wallet at several businesses in Columbus, Capt. Brent Swan said.
The suspect also allegedly stole a vehicle from Wholesale Auto on Feb. 7, Swan added. Authorities did not release a description of the vehicle by press time.
Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity or whereabouts should call the CPD at 244-3500 or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 800-530-7151.
