Police are investigating a Saturday drive-by shooting that sent one man to the hospital.
Officers responded to the 700 block of 21st Street North at about 7:21 p.m. in reference to a gunshot victim, according to a Columbus Police Department press release.
At the scene, they found a 29-year-old man suffering a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle to be treated.
CPD Public Information Officer Bryan Moore described this incident as a drive-by shooting. The victim did not know who shot him, and no arrests have been made, he said.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information pertaining to the shooting is asked to contact CPD at (662) 244-3500 or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at (800) 530-7151.
