Frederick Keare Butler, 23, of 1308 20th St. North, was arrested Friday after allegedly shooting four times into a van driven by Peyton McCrary of Columbus.
According to scanner traffic, McCrary was driving near the intersection of 23rd Street and Washington Avenue when two suspects fired into his vehicle and then fled. Officers with the Columbus Police Department arrested Butler near the 400 block of 20th Street South.
He was charged with one count of aggravated assault with a weapon. He is currently in the custody of the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center.
