Holly Hills Plaza on Highway 45 has officially moved into the hands of a new owner.
The retail center, located at 3189 Hwy 45 N, is an 18,000 square foot property that generates roughly $13,000 a month in income, according to an online Flexmls listing. The building was listed as being under contract on April 9 and sold on June 28.
David Coleman with Coleman Realty acted as both the listing and selling agent for the property. He is also the registered agent for Commercial Property Investments LLC, which purchased the retail center from Grey Car Properties LLC.
“We had the management on it for Grey Car Properties, and the owner came to us and said he would be interested in selling it,” Coleman said.
Coleman did not disclose the total cost of the sale of the property. Online, the building was listed at $1,125,000.
Lowndes County Tax Assessor Greg Andrews told The Dispatch the property has a value of $764,680 in 2023 for tax purposes.
On the Secretary of State’s website, both Grey Car and Commercial Property Investments are listed as having Columbus addresses.
Coleman said Grey Car sold the property as it had “larger interests elsewhere.”
The plaza is currently home to tenants State Farm, Tax Starz, Hollydale Health Foods, Weekends Plus Urgent Care, Mudd Dobbers Vintage Shop, Southern Sweets Old Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor and more.
Coleman said the tenants should not experience any impact from the change of hands, as the shopping center changes hands. He said the building has always stayed fully occupied.
