In his reelection bid for sheriff, Republican incumbent Eddie Hawkins has outspent his opponent by a rate of more than 5-to-1 and still has $15,160 on hand through the Nov. 7 election.
Candidates in state and local races must file periodic campaign finance reports and itemize contributions or expenditures of $200 or greater. The most recent reports were due Tuesday and covered the period between Oct. 1 and 29.
Hawkins reported $300 in non-itemized donations for the period and $8,069.35 in spending. Year-to-date, he has raised $68,575.35 for his campaign and spent $53,415.35.

Democratic challenger Willie Jones reported $1,000 in non-itemized donations for the period, with spending of $1,002. Overall, he has raised $10,760 and spent $10,649.84, leaving him with $110.16 on hand.
Supervisor races

In District 5, independent challenger Tiffany Turner reported $3,170 in contributions for the period and $3,458 in spending.
She self-funded $800, received $610 each from Dennis Erby and Linder Erby, and $300 from her husband Marty Turner. She also reported $850 in non-itemized donations.
Overall, Turner has reported raising $7,995 and total spending of $8,022.
Incumbent Democrat Leroy Brooks did not file a report by the deadline.

In District 1, Republican Matt Furnari reported $1,330 in spending, bringing his total spending to $8,453.11. He has reported no fundraising.

Likewise, in District 3, Republican Andy Williamson has reported only self funding, with $1,818 both raised and spent for the period. Overall, he has spent $3,882.
Neither of their opponents, Democrat Tommy Lee Kidd in District 1 nor independent Christopher Moore in District 3, filed a report by Tuesday’s deadline.
Chancery Clerk

Incumbent Republican Cindy Goode reported $562 in donations for the period, including $250 from Jack H. Hayes Jr. and $312 non-itemized.
Overall, she has raised $1,342 for her reelection and spent $541, leaving her $801 on hand.
Democratic challenger Andre Roberts did not file a report by the deadline.
Coroner
Neither Republican incumbent Greg Merchant nor Democratic challenger Leonard Williams Jr. filed a campaign finance report by Tuesday’s deadline.
