The Golden Triangle Planning and Development District soon will open its Senior Enrichment Center in Columbus.
The center Monday hosted an open house to reveal the new adult day care facility, at 1522 Gardner Blvd., where it will offer activities throughout the day for senior citizens, for a daily fee.
“A lot of times, people that work need a place to leave their loved ones, their mothers, their fathers. They don”t feel comfortable leaving them at home,” said Rudy Johnson, of the GTPDD.
Those interested in enrolling a family member in the program should contact the center”s director, Carla Guyton, at 662-328-0437.
