JACKSON – Vincent Young recently served as a page for the Mississippi House Representatives. Pages generally run errands for officials and House staff.
Young, 16, a junior, is the son of Telisa and Vincent Young. He attends Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science. He was sponsored this week by District 38 Rep. Cheikh Taylor, D-Starkville.
When asked about his experience as a page, Young said “I was truly grateful for this opportunity to serve as a page in the Mississippi House of Representatives. I would like to thank Representative Cheikh Taylor for allowing me to page for him.”
