A fire early Sunday destroyed a Northside home, according to Columbus Fire and Rescue Chief Duane Hughes.
Firefighters responded at about 1 a.m. to 1402 Eighth Ave. N., Hughes said. By then, the house fire was “fully involved.”
No one was at the home when firefighters arrived, Hughes said. An investigation is underway to determine the fire’s cause, but Hughes said arson is not suspected.
