Lowndes County communities are making preparations for their annual Christmas parades coming soon.
Caledonia has scheduled its annual parade Saturday Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. with the theme centered around “A Patriotic Christmas.”
According to Town Clerk Judy Whitcomb, the parade lineup begins at 5:15 at Ola J. Pickett Park.
Serving as grand marshals for the event are local World War II veterans.
“We want to have as many veterans in the parade as possible,” Whitcomb said.
