The following arrests were reported by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department and the Columbus Police Department:

  • Christopher Lashun Easterwood, 22, of Marietta, Ga., was arrested at Stonegate Apartments by CPD June 13 and charged with possession of cocaine. His bond is $5,000. His court date is scheduled for Nov. 12.
  • Elijah Anthony Henry, 19, of 489 Bunker Hill Road, was arrested at A-1 Body Shop by LCSO June 13 and charged with attempted burglary-breaking and entering of a dwelling, possession of marijuana in a vehicle, speeding, burglary-breaking and entering of a dwelling and burglary. His bond is $31,525. His court date is scheduled for July 9.
  • Jimvierre Marquice Peterson III, 22, of 398 Justin Circle, was arrested at A-1 Body Shop by LCSO June 13 and charged with attempted burglary-breaking and entering of a dwelling and burglary-breaking and entering of a dwelling. He was released June 17 on a $20,000 surety bond. His court date is scheduled for Nov. 12.
  • Penny Jean White, 45, of 100 Sylvan Road Apt. A, was arrested at Walmart by CPD June 17 and charged with shoplifting less than $250 and violation of probation. Her court date is scheduled for July 10.
