The following arrests were made by Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office:

■ Mekayla Harris, 25, was charged with nine counts of failure to appear, simple assault on a minor, possession of controlled substance and possession of stolen property.

■ French Jones, 40, was charged with possession of marijuana greater than one ounce.

■ Joseph Shields, 33, was charged with trespassing and false information.

■ Anthony Lybrand, 43, was charged with possession of controlled substance

■ Taravis Skinner, 22, was charged with careless driving and possession with intent to distribute.

■ Clint Stokes, 42, was charged with possession of controlled substance.

■ Lonnell Thompson, 20, was charged with two counts of aggressive assault with weapon, two counts of shooting into a bus and shooting into a dwelling.

■ Terry Williams, 50, was charged with failure to register new address as a sex offender.

■ Colby Doyle, 25, was charged with possession of controlled substance.

■ Valerie Lawson, 40, was charged with hindering prosecution.

■ Mark McCorkle, 37, was charged with possession of methamphetamine.

■ Skyler Williams, 34, was charged with possession of marijuana greater than one ounce.

■ Derek Hughes, 35, was charged with careless driving and possession of cocaine.

■ Brooke Merrigan, 24, was charged with possession of paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.

■ Jeanie Miller, 31, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of controlled substance.

■ Christopher Tedford, 42, was charged with sexual battery.
