The following arrests were reported by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office and Columbus Police Department:
- Charles Anthony Hayes, 26, of 162 Colt Lane in Guntown, was arrested by MDOC Oct. 30 and charged with violation of probation. He has not been released.
- Greg Sims, 36, of 115 Gaylane, was arrested by MDOC Oct. 29 and charged with violation of parole and sex offender failing to register a new address. He has not been released.
- Craig Delaine Houser, 24, of 47 Hollowell Drive in Caledonia, was arrested by LCSO Oct. 31 and charged with violation of probation and breaking and entering a dwelling-burglary. He was released Nov. 1.
- Quaylin Curtis Smith, 20, of 1308 Military Road, was arrested by CPD Oct. 31 and charged with improper equipment, possession of paraphernalia, no insurance and possession, sale or transfer of a stolen firearm. He has not been released. His court date is scheduled for Nov. 28.
- Christopher Douglas Bailey, 26, of 177 Honeysuckle Drive, was arrested by MDOC Nov. 1 and charged with violation of probation. He has not been released.
- Danzel Devon Latham, 21, of 291 Read Drive, was arrested by CPD Nov. 1 and charged with sexual battery. He was released the same day on a $25,000 surety bond. His court date is scheduled for Dec. 20.
