An Oktibbeha County sheriff’s deputy has been fired from his job after being arrested for driving under the influence.
Another Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrested Phillip Miller, 45, of Starkville, on Silver Ridge Road Sunday night. He was charged with first-degree DUI and misdemeanor stalking, according to a sheriff’s department press release.
He was booked in Oktibbeha County Jail with bond set at $500.
Miller had been employed with the sheriff’s office for nine years.
