Columbus police are seeking a suspect in a non-fatal shooting Monday in an East Columbus neighborhood.
Police Chief Fred Shelton said officers responded to a report of shots fired at about 9:30 p.m. within the 100 block of South Lehmberg Road at Country Air Apartments.
Officers discovered a man had been shot in the leg, and the victim was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Shelton said. The victim was treated and released.
Shelton said the victim is not cooperating with police in the investigation.
