Police are seeking a suspect in a Thursday shooting that injured a 15-year-old boy.
Officers patrolling the area between 19th Street and Seventh Avenue North saw the teen wounded in the roadway, a press release from Columbus Police Department said.
The press release did not specify what time the victim was found.
Officers rendered first aid until an ambulance arrived to take the victim to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. The teen was later airlifted to another hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, according to the press release.
Chief Joseph Daughtry did not respond to calls or texts from The Dispatch by press time Friday.
