Junior Auxiliary of Columbus has announced the members of its 67th annual Charity Ball court to be presented April 1 at Trotter Convention Center. The procession of high school seniors will begin at 8 p.m., preceding presentation of the Charity Ball king and queen; those identities are kept secret until the night of the event.
“The Power of the Crown” is the theme of the 2017 ball which is the JA chapter’s premier fundraiser for its numerous service projects benefiting the children of Lowndes County.
Palmer Home Treblemakers will perform at the event, which also includes a royalty breakfast at 9:30 p.m. and dancing to the music of the band Fly by Radio.
Tickets to the breakfast ($25) and balcony tickets to the ball ($25) are available at Military Hardware at 1002 13th St. N. in Columbus. To inquire about tickets remaining for table seating in the main ballroom, contact Betsy Galloway at 662-364-3574.
