Day of Giving — Following an 8 a.m. breakfast at Trotter Convention Center in Columbus, volunteers will distribute school supplies to teachers to help finish the school year, sponsored by Visit Columbus, City of Columbus, Board of Supervisors, Sodexo, United Way of Lowndes County and The W. Smithsonian Water/Ways Exhibition — This traveling interactive exhibit at the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway Transportation Museum, 318 Seventh St. N., Columbus, explores how water affects the way we live, work, worship, create and play, and how to sustain this resource for the future.
