Local produce, homemade baked goods, and arts and crafts are available at the corner of 2nd Street and 2nd Avenue North in Historic Downtown Columbus from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Call (662) 328-6305.
Held every Saturday morning at 8 a.m. at Fire Station Park in Starkville, the market features locally grown food, baked goods, live plants and handmade items, plus cooking and gardening demonstrations, kids activities and live music at the Huntington Bank Pavilion. Food, games, live entertainment, bounce houses, water slides, over 30 vendors and fireworks take over Noxubee Titans Field, 814 Dr. MLK Jr. Dr., Macon, from 6 to 11:30 p.m. Clear bags only; no outside coolers, backpacks or personal tents.
Cornerstone Sports Complex hosts a fireworks show beginning at 6 p.m., with games, music, activities, bounce houses and food trucks. Fireworks begin around 9 p.m.

A free toy and household supply giveaway for families hosted by United Way of the Golden Triangle Region and community partners runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., or while supplies last, at Roger Short Soccer Complex, 301 N. 3rd St.
A 3-part relationship enrichment workshop series for couples meets at The Well Family Support on three consecutive Wednesdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $40 per couple for all three sessions; space is limited to eight couples and registration is required. Call 662-368-2008.

A gallery reception celebrating artists Lee Ann Merkl, Leigh Ann Edmonds and Mary Ellen Winborn takes place at 5:30 p.m. at the Columbus Arts Council, 501 Main St. Admission is free.
