Golden Triangle Events
A barbecue cookoff at Ola J. Pickett Park in Caledonia begins at 6 p.m., with judging followed by leftover BBQ plates sold at the concession stand. A fireworks show presented by Caledonia Main Street follows at 9 p.m. Entries are accepted through July 2.
Cattlemens Stockyard, 45 Rockin M Drive, West Point, hosts the two-night rodeo at 7:15 p.m., with kid events from 5–6:30 p.m. Features include bareback, bull riding, barrel racing and more, plus nightly gun raffles and Saturday fireworks. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children; kids 5 and under free.

A free Independence Day celebration at Columbus Air Force Base features fireworks, live music, food vendors and craft vendors commemorating America's 250th anniversary.

A free toy and household supply giveaway for families hosted by United Way of the Golden Triangle Region and community partners runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., or while supplies last, at Roger Short Soccer Complex, 301 N. 3rd St.
A 3-part relationship enrichment workshop series for couples meets at The Well Family Support on three consecutive Wednesdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $40 per couple for all three sessions; space is limited to eight couples and registration is required. Call 662-368-2008.
