A barbecue cookoff at Ola J. Pickett Park in Caledonia begins at 6 p.m., with judging followed by leftover BBQ plates sold at the concession stand. A fireworks show presented by Caledonia Main Street follows at 9 p.m. Entries are accepted through July 2.
Cattlemens Stockyard, 45 Rockin M Drive, West Point, hosts the two-night rodeo at 7:15 p.m., with kid events from 5–6:30 p.m. Features include bareback, bull riding, barrel racing and more, plus nightly gun raffles and Saturday fireworks. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children; kids 5 and under free.
