Moreland resigning as Parks chair effective Dec. 31
Starkville Parks Commission Chairman Dan Moreland tendered a letter of resignation this week to Vice Mayor Roy A. Perkins and will step down from his position by the end of the year. Perkins asked Moreland to continue serving until June 30, but the commissioner refused.
