NEW HOPE — The New Hope boys beat West Lowndes 83-55 at the Trojan Holiday Classic on Wednesday.
Eric Caldwell led the host Trojans (7-2) with 19 points. Jorden Edwards scored 17, Caleb Parr and Ty Crowell each had 12, and Chris Allen had nine.
Fredrick Rice Jr. led West Lowndes with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Decamby Willis had 14 points and nine boards, and Darrell Brooks had 13 points.
Cameron Ellis had five points and four assists for the Panthers. Jaylon Sherrod had five points and three assists, and Taddarious Washington had four points and six rebounds.

CANTON — The Heritage Academy girls claimed a 44-27 win over host Canton Academy on Wednesday at the Canton Christmas Classic.
Reagan Merchant and Chloe Boyd had 11 points apiece to lead the Patriots. Lucy Sharp scored eight, Taylor Wheeler had six, Ellie Dawson had five, and Caroline Peal had three.
Heritage Academy’s next game is Tuesday at Starkville Academy.
