Mississippi State’s 2026 football roster is close to complete now with the addition of 24 transfer signees.
The transfer portal is now closed for players without exceptions, and with class registration closing, the Bulldogs have done some work late to complete their 2026 class.
The final week of portal recruitment saw the MSU staff under Jeff Lebby focus heavily on the offensive line, where the Bulldogs came up short on too many occasions in the 2025 season.
The team added five signees over the final days of the window, including a pair with SEC experience.
Here’s a look at the players MSU added since the last portal update.
Gus Cordova (DE) – USC
Career: 2 games
2026 status – Redshirt freshman
Made two appearances as a freshman at USC before entering the portal, recorded one solo tackle.
Riley Williams (TE) – Oregon State
Career: 16 receptions, 202 yards, 1 touchdown
2026 status – Redshirt junior
A veteran tight end addition with 23 games over three years at Miami and Oregon State.
Zion Ragins (WR) – Oklahoma
Career: 15 games, 10 receptions, 68 yards
2026 status – Redshirt sophomore
Ragins has a profile similar to Brenen Thompson, but without the experience. Familiar player for Lebby, who recruited Ragins to Oklahoma. Stands 5-8 and weighs 153 pounds, will be a young depth addition to the wide receiver depth chart.
Isaiah Autry-Dent (OL) – Oklahoma
Career: DNP
2026 status – Redshirt sophomore
DJ Chester (OL) – LSU
Career: 24 games, 14 starts at center
2026 status – Redshirt junior
The former Freshman All-SEC starter for the Tigers started all 13 games at center in 2024 before making just one start in seven appearances in 2025.
Kendel Dolby (DB) – Oklahoma
Career: 68 tackles, 5 passes defended, 2 interceptions
2026 status – Graduate senior
A former four-star and the top rated JUCO cornerback out of Southwest Junior College. Was a big contributor for the Sooners in 2023 but saw limited action over the last two seasons.
Jardin Gilbert (DB) – LSU
Career: 142 tackles, 8 passes defended, 3 interceptions
2026 status – Redshirt senior
An experienced SEC safety with five years of experience at Texas A&M and LSU. Started three games last year before deciding to transfer.
Dealyn Evans (DL) – Texas A&M
Career: DNP
2026 status – Redshirt freshman
Tyler Miller (OL) – LSU
Career: DNP
2026 status – Redshirt freshman
Miles McVay (OL) – North Carolina
Career: 23 games
2026 status – Redshirt junior
Experienced offensive lineman who played at Alabama before transferring to the Tar Heels. Played in seven games at UNC last season.
Gavin Holman (LB) – Florida State
Career: 2 games
2026 status – Redshirt sophomore
Brandon Sneh (OL) – UAB
Career: 12 games
2026 status – Redshirt senior
Now the most experienced left tackle on the MSU roster after Jayvin James’ transfer to Alabama. Started all 12 games at left tackle for the Blazers last season and recorded an 80.3 pass-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus.
Jaden Rashada (QB) – Sacramento State
Career: 9 games
2026 status – Redshirt junior
A bit of a transfer journeyman, Rashada comes to MSU after stays at Arizona State, Georgia, and Sacramento State. He adds some extra insurance behind QB1 Kamario Taylor.
