Mississippi State men’s basketball coach Rick Stansbury will speak Thursday to the Starkville Quarterback Club at the Starkville Country Club.
“This is a timely visit from coach Stansbury because the MSU basketball season kicks off with an exhibition game Saturday afternoon.” Starkville Quarterback Club President Brent Deweese said. “We’re anxious to hear about the outlook for the upcoming season.”
The social hour will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting at 7 p.m. Geoff Collins, the co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach for MSU’s football team, will update members about the Bulldogs and provide a scouting report for the University of Kentucky, MSU’s opponent at 6 p.m. Saturday (Fox Sports South) in Lexington, Ky.
BankFirst is sponsoring this week’s featured speaker. The dinner will be fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, salad bar, dessert, and tea.
