Mississippi State baseball has canceled its Tuesday night game against North Alabama at Dudy Noble Field due to impending weather.
It marks the second straight, and third out of its last four, midweek games that have been canceled, after last week’s home game against Memphis was stopped after two innings due to severe weather. The Bulldogs also had a home game against Southern in April that was canceled when the Jaguars had to make up conference games on their schedule.
Tuesday would have marked the final non-conference game of the season for MSU.
The Bulldogs conclude the regular season with this weekend’s Southeastern Conference series at home against Texas A&M beginning Thursday. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. (SEC+). MSU currently sits two games behind Missouri and Georgia for the final spot of the SEC Tournament in Hoover. Missouri travels to Auburn and Georgia hosts LSU this weekend.
