Mississippi State and Arkansas baseball announced a schedule change to the SEC opening weekend series, set to begin today at 6 p.m.
Game Three of the series was moved up from Sunday, and will begin one hour after the conclusion of Game Two, which begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Both games are scheduled to air on SEC Network.
Current weather forecasts project a high chance of rain in Fayetteville on Sunday, but Friday and Saturday are clear, giving the teams a chance to wrap up the series before the storm arrives. Doubleheader games will be nine innings each.
The Bulldogs (15-2) enter SEC play with their best start since the 2019 season, and are ranked No. 3 in the D1Baseball Top 25 poll. The No. 5 Razorbacks enter the series at 12-5.
