STARKVILLE — Mississippi State wide receiver/return specialist Lideatrick “Tulu” Griffin was named a preseason All-American by ESPN on Friday.
He earned his All-American honor in the return game, where he led the country in average return yards in 2022 at 32.3 yards per kickoff with one return touchdown.
As a receiver, he caught 40 passes for 502 yards and four touchdowns in 2022, career-highs across the board.
Along with ESPN, Griffin earned preseason All-Southeastern Conference honors from the media, Pro Football Focus and both All-SEC and All-American honors from Sports Info Solutions.
