Columbus Christian Academy’s shooting team competed in the Mississippi Scholastic Shooting Program 2023 State Shoot at McHenry Shooting Facility in Perkinston on Saturday.
The Rams’ three participants, left to right, Brett Mordecai, Ryan Bates and Nick Brock, finished in the top 10% of shooters in the north half of Mississippi and in the top 12% of shooters in the entire state.
Mordecai finished 44th, Bates finished 49th and Brock finished 54th out of 520 shooters in north half, and overall, Mordecai finished 89th, Bates finished 100th and Brock finished 111th out of 914 shooters.
