STARKVILLE — One of Mississippi’s top 2024 football prospects is headed to Starkville.
Terrance Hibbler, a four-star defensive lineman by 247sports Composite, announced his commitment to MSU Thursday night over his social media pages.
Hibbler, from Holmes County Central High School in Lexington, Mississippi, picked the Bulldogs over Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Alabama, Georgia Tech and Texas.
He committed after attending MSU’s Big Dawg Clinic at Davis-Wade Stadium.
Hibbler, listed at 6-foot-3, 305 pounds, is rated by 247sports as the No. 16 prospect in Mississippi and the No. 281st overall in the 2024 class.
Hibbler instantly becomes the top recruit in MSU’s six-man class. Along with Hibbler, the Bulldogs have received commitments from four-star quarterback Josh Flowers, three-star offensive lineman TJ Lockhart, three-star athlete Caleb Dozier, three-star wideout Matt Mayfield and three-star tight end Jay Lindsey.
MSU’s 2024 class currently ranks 35th overall in college football.
