Additional comments on gas prices
The bottom is falling out of the wholesale price of gasoline. It’s lower than it was in the 70s.
Gas has always come down in Columbus slower than our surrounding towns and always goes up the fastest.
In Tupelo, Exxon and Shell price is $1.43 and Starkville is $1.49.
I don’t know how the difference between the wholesale price and retail price could be considered a complicated equation.
