Doesn’t like message of cartoon
The picture in the Opinion page of Wednesday’s Dispatch really left me with some questions. Just what is the picture of OUR Vice President trying to imply?
I would not dare try to list what I truly think is being implied here. I find the picture very offensive and do not like the fact my kids are asking me what the picture means. Please help me understand how this picture deserves being printed in our local Columbus newspaper during these trying times.

Editor’s note: The cartoon in question was run as commentary on the Vice President’s decision to visit the Mayo Clinic without wearing a mask, which was in violation of the hospital’s policy and contrary to suggested preventative action by the White House coronavirus task force, which Pence chairs.
